The days are getting shorter and the mercury is dropping. There is a nip in the air and morning frost. Grabbing that all-important hat and mittens makes it a little longer to get ready to leave the house, but it’s well worth it to be comfortable.
I spend a lot of time outside, no matter what the weather, and have found that I prefer wool or wool blend yarn to maintain my comfort. Knit Picks yarn has many affordable options. I chose to design Diamonds Hat and Mittens in Mighty Stitch super bulky superwash wool for its ease of care and thickness. I wanted something that would create a chunky garment and would work up quickly. Mighty Stitch was the perfect choice for this project.
